Here are some examples of my music.
‘Piece for Japan’ is from my forthcoming debut solo album, currently titled ‘This Love’. I wrote this piece when the earthquake in Japan happened in 2011.
‘Esbjorn Svensson’ is also from ‘This Love’, though it will be in a different version for a different group on the album. Similarly, I wrote this piece when the great pianist Esbjorn Svensson sadly died in a diving accident in 2008. ‘This Love’ will be a set of elegies, including this piece.
‘Ballad of the South-East’ is from a suite I’ve written since moving back to Norfolk, where I grew up. The suite, currently called ‘Open Worlds’, is a set of pieces about different places in East Anglia. More on this project soon..!
